This ritual is usually used on roofs or boats, but can also affect walls, floors, wagons and other nonliving vehicles. Water and moisture cannot pass through the affected surface, preventing leaks and protecting against water pressure. However, if the object (or square of surface) suffers any damage beyond mere weathering, minor scratches, etc, the ritual's effects end.
