Scion

Through exposure to otherworldly magics, consistant practice or careful observation of your fellows, you have gained the ability to use skills not normally available to your class.

Choose one class feature from a class or subclass. You gain that feature as your class feature for this level. This feature:

  • Cannot be an alternative to a class feature you already have (Warlocks cannot pick two Pact features for example).
  • Cannot have a prerequisite feature or affect an ability/skill/spell you do not have.
  • Cannot be a shared class feature you already have (You cannot get three attacks from taking Extra Attack twice, for example).
  • Must be a feature that has a level requirement you would be able to meet if you were that class (A 1st level Barbarian would not be able to get a Cleric's Channel Divinity until they were 2nd level, for example)
  • If it unlocks the ability to gain a multitude of sub-abilities (Such as Battle Master's Techniques or Four Element's Disciplines), you only gain access to half of the abilities you would normally get (Rounded up). All of the prerequisites listed above apply to these sub-features.
  • If it is an evolving feature (Such as a Monk's Unarmored Movement), all of the prerequisites listed above apply to gain access to the evolved form of the feature.

You can gain this feature multiple times, but you cannot take the same class feature twice.
