School of Endymion[edit]

Wizard Subclass

Wizards from the school of Endymion follow their masters example, seeking to master the use of the concentrated magic found in spell counters and utilizing them to further their study and use of magic.

Spell Power Grasp

Starting at 2nd level, you gain the ability to create spell counters, you can have a number of spell counters equal to half your wizard level (rounding down) and can create spell counters when you are hit by a spell of first level or higher, creating counters equal to the spells level. you may use spell counters to create new spell slots or expend spell slots to create spell counters the same way a sorcerer would use sorcery points.

Metamagic

Starting at 2nd level, you can use Metamagic as a sorcerer does, using spell counters in place of sorcery points. You gain one metamagic option at second level, you gain a second at level 10, and a third at level 17.

Chain Dispel

At 6th level, you gain the ability to prevent the use of spells against you that you are familiar with. After being hit by a spell that does damage you can spend a number of spell counters equal to that spells level plus one, the caster of that spell cannot cast the same spell again until they complete a long rest.

Trismegistus

At 10th level, you've learned to use spell counters to defy the grips of death. If you or an ally within 30 feet of you that you can see would be reduced to 0 Hit Points, you can remove 3 spell counters and end Attunement to one magic item you are attuned to, you (or your ally) are reduced to 1 Hit Point instead.

Spell Power Mastery

At 14th level, you have mastered the creation of spell counters and can create them from your own spells magical power alone rather than needing to channel an outside source of power or converting a spell slot. Up to three times per Long Rest when you cast a spell of sixth level or lower you can gain spell counters equal to the level of the spell cast.
