Sanity Stat

Sanity: Roll 4d6 (subtract the lowest number) to determine the Score.

Sanity is affected by horrific and mind altering events or things far beyond comprehension. When you reach 0% of the Sanity Bar, you will be affected by "Short Term Madness". This will occur for each subsequent Crazed Stack before Crazed 10. When this occurrs it will lead you into the Crazed meter. If you let a Crazed Stack rise up from 0% to 100%, it will raise the stack count and the insanity effects will worsen with each consecutive Crazed Stack. If you let it rise up to 10 Crazed Stacks, you gain "Long Term Madness". If it reaches to 20 stacks, you gain "Indefinite Madness".

Sanity Bar: 1 (100%) | Crazed Stacks: 1-20 (100% Each)
A character may peform certain actions to calm the mind to dull their senses to the madness that was brought onto them such as drinking, smoking, meditation, or other activities that the DM deems as suitable for this purpose. To determine how much Sanity should restored refer to the text below, also if a character is in a Crazed state then it may take a longer time to get back to the Sanity Bar state this can vary by way of DM's Discretion in the matter.
How the Sanity Bar is lowered is up to DM's discretion based on what occurs during a given situation. A DM could use Dice (such as 3d4, 2d10,etc) or they can lower Sanity by a certain percentage that is appropiate for the given scenario. The same applies to the Crazed Stacks which can rise depending on the scenario and bring a character further into madness.
To find the different tables and effects for each type of Madness, one may refer to DMG pages: pg. 259 & pg. 260
Cataclysm

The more crazed levels you have, the more Critical failures and other bad rolls can cause terrible things to happen. When a person has Crazed stacks, the DM can roll a D100 to determine if an exteremely detrimental effect occurs on top of whatever would occur from the failure. There is a 5% increase of Catalclysm for every level of Crazed stack beyond the first, Maximum is amount 100% Chance for Cataclysm at full stacks of Crazed.

Weak Mind

At 5 Crazed Stacks, you can Critical Fail on 2's or lower. At 10 Crazed Stacks, you can Critcal Fail on 3's or lower. When you reach beyond 10 Crazed Stacks, the number on which you can fail will go up with each stack of Crazed. At the max of 20 Crazed Stacks, you can Critical Fail on a 13 or lower.
