This is listed under the medium armor category under the SRD, but its description says light armor. Discrepancy? --71.2.126.214 17:45, 28 June 2009 (MDT)

It is also under the light armor category. I think since it is chainmail and chainmail is medium armor and that is the only reason that it is under the medium armor category, but I do not know for sure. The rules say treat it as light so no matter what category it is in treat it as light armor. Also it is light I think because it is treated as or is mithral armor. -Sarrow 18:56, 28 June 2009 (MDT)
I believe that it is mithril, and mithril lightens the armor category. It never explicity says that it is mithril, but if you use the mithril rules on chainmail, you get the stats that the armor uses. --Dmilewski 04:01, 1 July 2009 (MDT)

it is definitely mithrall. The +3 to max dex and + to the skill penalties proves it, as well as the medium to light aspect. My question is this: how the hell does it get +8 to max dex? Where does it get the extra +3 from? Might it be the +3 enchant it has? if so, where does it specify that armor enchant increases max dex?92.83.182.5 02:05, 8 December 2010 (MST)

Celestial armor is a specific armor, the increased dex bonus beyond mithral is just one of the special things about it. Oh and to the question above I have seen it listed as light armor.--18.217.98.211 12:02, 19 November 2021 (MST)
