Rucksack-Funkgerät (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
A short ranged two-way German WW2 radio. Can be used in vehicles or transported as a backpack. Used for communicating or calling in airstrikes.
Charges: 50
Cost: 1000 gp
Weight: 13 lb.[1]
You can use the following actions:
Communication
You can expend one charge to communicate to any similar Radios in a 1-mile[2] radius for 1 minute if using the same frequency. You can also manually use the hand crank for 24 seconds to achieve the same effect, without losing any charges.
Strafing run
You can expend 10 charges to order in a strafing run from a pair of Bf-109s. Anyone in a 15x50ft area will receive 2d20 piercing damage if failing their Dexterity check. If not they only receive 1d20 damage.
(Target area must be in the open air and not a confined space.)
Close air support
You can expend 20 charges to order in two Ju 87 dive bombers dropping 250kg bombs. These can destroy armored vehicles, buildings, and infantry in a 50ft radius. They will deal 1d100 to anyone inside, which will be halved on a successful Constitution saving throw.
