A race of Tortle that chose the underground as home since the beginning of times. After living in the underground for so long, they acquired the ability to see very well in dark spaces. Their skin has became grey like the rock. Their shell became like rock, growing a rock-like figure and texture. Their eyes are crystal blue or bright grey like the minerals found deep underground. They are very recluse and lonely creatures, making hard for them to form a proper society, but they still help each other when they can, often exchanging fish or other edible things that are found on their habitat. Because of their choice of home, they have became very resistant to cold. Living underground, the Rock Shell Tortles usually encounter elementals that chose to live beneath the surface, because of this, they have learned the languages of one another.

Rock Shell Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increase by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1 (Replace base ASI).
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet. Your swimming speed is 30 feet.
Age. There are reports of them living since the beginning of times.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Growing Shell. If your shell cracks, whatever the cause is, after 8 hours it heals back.
Sturdy Resistance. You have advantage on saving throws made against very low temperatures, have resistance to poison damage, and have advantage on saving throws against the poisoned condition.
Sturdy Shell. You have a natural armor of 15 + your Constitution or Dexterity modifier (your choice, maximum +2). You can’t wear light, medium, or heavy armor, but if you are using a shield, you can apply the shield’s bonus as normal.
Underwater Breath. You can breathe in both air and water.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Aquan and Primordial (these replace your languages).
