Robust Ki (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Robust Ki
Prerequisites: Wisdom 13 or Higher
Your constant focus on improving your overall well-being, both spiritually and physically, has allowed your body to reach an unprecedented zenith. Your body is now a shining beacon of physical health.
- Your ki point maximum increases by 1. If you have no levels in Monk, your ki points will recharge whenever you complete a short or long rest.
- You may cast the Metabolic Boost cantrip.
- You may expend 1 ki point to cast the spell Jump. You may expend 1 additional ki point cast the spell as a bonus action, and use your spellcasting modifier instead of Strength to calculate jump distance.
- You may expend 1 ki point to cast the spell Strengthening. You may expend 1 additional ki point to remove the concentration requirement and allow the spell to now grant advantage on Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution Ability Checks.
- The spell-casting modifier used for all these spells is Wisdom.
In addition, you may manifest your mastery over your physique in more minor ways:
- Once per short rest, you may expend an amount of hit die up to your Wisdom Modifier to gain Ki points equal to the amount expended. If you would exceed your Ki point maximum, you instead replenish the expended hit die as temporary hit points.
- For every two levels total you have you may increase your maximum hit die by 1. If you are multiclassing, you may choose what hit die you wish to gain from your classes.
- As a reaction to failing a saving throw to afflicted by the poisoned condition, you may spend 1 Ki point to reroll that saving throw taking the better of the two results.
