Ritual Killer
Prerequisites: Ability to cast a spell
Sometimes you need a little extra mojo. You could try cultivating it in yourself, but taking it from others is so much more efficient.
- You may cast any spell you know as a ritual. In addition to the spell’s normal material components, you will need to sacrifice an incapacitated or restrained creature with a challenge rating equal to or greater than triple the spell’s level. The creature must remain incapacitated or restrained, stay within 5ft of you, and have fewer hit points than you during the entire ritual. Petrified creatures cannot be used. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
- As part of any ritual, you may sacrifice incapacitated or restrained creatures in the place of material components with gp costs. You must sacrifice creatures with a combined CR equal to or greater than 1/10 of the material’s gp cost to replace it. The creatures must remain incapacitated or restrained, stay within 5ft of you, and have fewer hit points than you during the entire ritual. Petrified creatures cannot be used.
