Ring of Envy (5e Equipment)

Ring, artifact (requires attunement) This ring is crafted from green jade and is set with a large emerald. It is said to be cursed, and whoever wears it will find themselves consumed with envy of those around them. They will go to great lengths to acquire what others have and will stop at nothing to tear them down. While wearing this ring, you gain the following benefits: You have +2 to all Charisma-based checks and skills You have a +5 while attacking any creature you are envious of You have immunity to the effects of the Envy spell Curse. The wearer of this ring is afflicted with a curse of envy. They must make a DC 15 Wisdom save whenever they see someone else with something they desire. If they fail, they will spend the next hour obsessing over that person and what they have. They will make plans to acquire it for themselves, no matter the cost. The ring can only be removed by a wish spell.
