Returned From Hell

Prerequisites: Survive or get out of hell
You have survived a travel to hell, being permanently scarred and empowered by the experience. You gain the following benefits:

  • Increase your Strength, Dexterity or Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
  • When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can cause hellish flames to burst from your weapon using a bonus action, causing fire damage to creatures of your choice within 5 feet of your target. The total fire damage equals 2d8, divided among the chosen creatures however you like. This fire damage ignore resistance to fire damage from demons. Once you use this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
  • As a reaction when you take damage from a spell or effect generated by a fiend, you can give yourself resistance to that damage. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining your uses of it after finishing a long rest.
