Soul Resonance[edit]

A soul may resonate with something, be it a god, magic, or something else supernatural. They are extremely powerful and rare blessings only given to a select few worthy indivudials. (may be flavored however your DM wishes)

Obtainment[edit]

You must be at least level 10. Whenever you fail a Death Saving Throw, roll a d100, if it is a 90 or above, you will experience divine intervention. You will be healed to full health, and any status effects will be cured, aswell as receiving a 1d8 damage bonus to any attack for 5 turns. After this happens, the sound of bells will sound out all around you, being able to be heard within a 50 meter radius.

Resonance Forms[edit]

When you obtain your Resonance, it will take the form of an instrument, select one from the table below or roll a d6. You may also make your own forms!

Bards with Resonances[edit]

If you are a Bard, your Resonance will become built into your instrument, with the addition of a bell sounding out whenever it is played. Your instrument will sound extremely untuned if it is Tarnished.

Tarnished Resonances[edit]

If you're unlucky enough to have rolled a 1, you will have a tarnished resonance. Your soul's imbalance causes you to have issues calling forth your Resonance. You will not be able to use it until you get it fixed by someone who is able, which is decided by your DM This also may come with downsides, which can also be decided by your DM.
