Saving Throws Dex +15, Con +19, Int +11, Wis +13, Cha +15 Divine Being. Rayquaza can't be surprised and can't be changed into another form against its will. Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Rayquaza fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead. Magic Weapons. Rayquaza's weapon attacks are magical. Flyby. Rayquaza doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach. Innate Spellcasting. Rayquaza's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 23, +15 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components: At will: control winds, create or destroy water (6th level), gust of wind, wind wall Air Lock. Each creature of Rayquaza's choice within 60 feet of it that have the trait Drought, Drizzle, Desolate Land, or Primordial Sea gain no benefit from those traits, and the creatures around them gain no negative effects from those traits. Delta Stream (Primal Form Only). The air within 60 feet of Rayquaza is heavy wind, which functions as a reverse gravity spell, directed perpendicular to the ground any way Rayquaza chooses. Rayquaza can deactivate or activate the wind as a bonus action. Illumination (Primal Form Only). Rayquaza sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. ACTIONSMultiattack. Rayquaza uses Dragon Ascent if it can. It then makes three attacks: one with its Bite, one with Constrict, and one with dragon claw. Primal Reversion (1/Day). Rayquaza magically transforms into Primal Rayquaza. Its statistics are the same in each form. This transformation lasts for 1 hour, until Rayquaza becomes unconscious, or until Rayquaza dismisses it as an action. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 43 (6d10 + 10) piercing damage. Constrict. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 37 (6d8 + 10) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 27). Until this grapple ends, the creature is restrained, and Rayquaza can't constrict another target. Dragon Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 5 ft. one target. Hit: 38 (5d10 + 10) slashing damage. Dragon Ascent (Recharge 5-6). Melee Weapon Attack. +19 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 120 (20d10 + 10) bludgeoning damage, and if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 29 Constitution saving throw or fall prone and be stunned until the end of its next turn. V-Create (Primal Form Only; 1/Day). Melee Spell Attack: +19 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 325 (30d20 + 10) force damage plus 110 (20d10) fire damage, and if the target is a creature, then it must succeed on a DC 30 Constitution saving throw or be knocked unconscious for 1 minute. Attack rolls against Rayquaza have advantage until the start of its next turn.
LEGENDARY ACTIONSRayquaza can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Rayquaza regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn. Attack. Rayquaza makes one attack with its Bite or Constrict. |
