You launch a searing beam of light at a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 radiant damage. Fiends and undead take 1d12 radiant damage instead.
The spell creates more than one beam when you reach higher levels: two beams at 5th level, three at 11th level, and four at 17th level. You can aim the beams at the same target or different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each beam.
