Players that do not appear to be human when they are in public are at serious risk. Therefore, only races that can pass for human are sensible to play in this setting.
Allowed Races[edit]
Human[edit]
- Permitted.
Variant Human[edit]
- Permitted.
Half-Elf[edit]
- Permitted if ears appear human.
- Phenomenally rare in this setting, as all elves inhabit the Fae Kingdom, and are extraordinarily malignant to humans, viewing them as toys at best.
Tiefling[edit]
- Permitted if they appear human (regular skin tone, horns filed down, no obvious features, etc.).
- Phenomenally rare in this setting, as all demons and devils inhabit the Hell, and are outright evil.
Changeling[edit]
- Permitted if primarily appearing human.
- Somewhat rare in this setting, but more common than half-elves or tieflings.
- Would be endangered by revealing their identity to regular humans.
Disallowed Races[edit]
All other races are disallowed. Speak to the Dungeon Master if you are set on playing a race other than the above.
