Quindent

Martial Melee Weapons
Weapon Cost Damage Weight Properties
Quindent 10 gp 1d10 piercing 5 lb. Heavy, Thrown (range 10/25), Two-Handed

A trident with an extra pair of prongs extending out of each side of the pole for a greater number of points of contact at the cost of extra weight. Quindents are generally considered clumsier to wield and balance than tridents and are only used by those that have both mastered the smaller weapon and possess great reserves of strength, usually built up from both war and swimming.

Mastery: Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Underwater Combat. Like other spear-like polearms, the quindent can be used underwater without disadvantage.
