Quill of Duplication (5e Spell)
From D&D Wiki
1st-level conjuration (ritual) | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | Touch |
Components: | V, M (an exotic feathered quill worth at least 10 gp) |
Duration: | Until dispelled |
You touch a book, drawing, map or similar document with the quill and imbue the content inside it. Each time you cast this spell, you must use a different quill.
At any time thereafter, you can use your action to place the quill on paper or a large enough surface and the quill will write out whatever it was imbued with. After a few seconds of writing, the quill copies what was stored within it exactly. The spell ends and the quill disappears after it has finished writing.
Dispel magic or a similar effect successfully applied to the quill ends this spell's effect.
