Purity of Focus

You have consumed and combined with an elemental, giving you massive power when wielding their particular brand of magic, but weakening you to all others.

  • Gain immunity to acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, radiant, or thunder damage. Gain vulnerability to all other damage types except bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing.
  • You have advantage on any attack that would deal your chosen damage type, but disadvantage on any attacks that would deal any type of damage other than it and bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage.
  • Any spell or cantrip that causes your chosen damage type does not require any material components.
  • Whenever you take damage, deal 1d4 + your proficiency bonus of your chosen damage type to the enemy that caused it.
  • All weapon or unarmed strikes you make deals an additional 1d4 + your proficiency bonus of your chosen damage type.
  • All cantrips or spells you cast that deal your chosen damage type gain 30ft of range.
  • After a long rest, you can give up to 5 friendly characters resistance to your chosen damage type until your next long rest.
  • If your character is killed, deal 1d6 per their level of your chosen damage to all enemies within 100ft.
