Prodigal Spellcaster (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Prodigal Spellcaster
Prerequisites: Ability to cast at least one spell
Your prowess as a spellcaster is such that you can invoke and wield spells far beyond your normal capabilities.
- Choose one Metamagic of your choice from the sorcerer class except for Quickened Spell, Twinned Spell, and Heightened Spell. Spells you cast are now always considered under the effects of this Metamagic regardless of sorcery point costs. Extended spell will function as if you used a number of sorcery points equal to your proficiency bonus.
- You learn one spell, a level higher than your current highest spell level. This spell must be one of your choice from the sorcerer spell list. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this spell. To cast this spell, you must spend spell slots equivalent to the level of the spell you wish to cast. For example, to cast a 5th-level spell as a 7th-level Sorceror, you need to expend a 4th-level and 1st-level spell slot. You may replace this spell with a spell 1 level higher every time your maximum spell level increases.
