Plasmoid Variant[edit]

plasmoids are the lord of nothing's demon spawn, just like all the other oozes, but plasmoids differentiate themselves by making tools, traveling the astral plane, and having a higher intellect then their brethren.

Physical Description

plasmoids are blue amorphous slime-creatures, the silhouettes of a nerve system and brain can be seen inside their gooey body. they can be almost any shape but generally take a form resembling whatever creatures they are near.

speaking in the traditional sense is impossible for plasmoids, instead you can telepathically broadcast your thoughts in the form of a language you can read to all creatures within hearing range (you cannot choose which creatures receive the broadcast). you can read common and abyssal.
Hive roles.

at a young age, plasmoids take up a role to help provide for their hive. choose from the explorer or warrior.

Blindsight.

your species does not have eyes so you have instead evolved to send out psychic vibrations, allowing you to perceive a 120 foot radius around you as if you were looking at it.

Acidic eating
you have resistance to acid damage. by moving some of your harmful insides to the surface you may choose to make your unarmed strikes deal acid damage, by dissolving something in this way you achieve the same effect as eating it.
Bodily storage

as a bonus action you may take a solid object and store it inside your body or remove an item that was stored. you have a storage space equal to a three foot cube in which the items are placed and you may make an unarmed strike against any stored item. your body instinctively rejects creatures from the storage space.
