Flyby. The Pidgeotto doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach.

Keen Eye. The Pidgeotto has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

Sense of Direction. The Pidgeotto always knows the direction of its home nest and which way is north. It cannot become lost by nonmagical means.

ACTIONS

Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage.

Gust. The Pidgeotto flaps its wings to create a gale in a 30-foot cone. Each Medium or smaller creature in the area must make a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be pushed up to 10 feet away from the Pidgey. Any objects in the area less than 5 pounds that aren't being worn or carried are pushed 20 feet away.

Whirlwind (Recharge 4-6). The Pidgeotto conjures a cyclone with a radius of 10 feet around itself. Each creature in the radius must make a DC 14 Strength saving throw. On a failure, a target takes 12 (3d8) force damage and is flung up to 20 feet away from the Pidgeotto in a random direction and knocked prone. If a thrown target strikes an object, such as a wall or floor, the target takes 3 (1d6) bludgeoning damage for every 10 feet it was thrown. If the target is thrown at another creature, that creature must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or take the same damage and be knocked prone.

If the saving throw is successful, the target takes half the bludgeoning damage and isn't flung away or knocked prone.
