Huge mana beast, unaligned Armor Class 17 (natural armor)
Proficiency Bonus +6 SHP = 130 MP (Mana Points) = 120 Cocoon Form (Reaction). When reduced to 0 SHP or DHP, the Wyrm forms a hardened shell of pink scales. While cocooned, it is immune to damage for 1 round. Emergency Escape (Costs all MP). At the end of the cocoon round, the Phoenix Wyrm may teleport up to 500 miles to a place it considers safe. Flare Aura. While not cocooned, enemies within 10 ft take 2d6 fire damage at the start of their turn. ActionsBurning Wing Slash. Melee Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft, one target. Hit: 18 (3d8 + 4) slashing + 1d6 fire. Blinding Flare (Recharge 5–6). Emits a brilliant burst of light. Creatures in 30 ft radius must make a DC 16 CON save or be blinded for 1 minute. Battlefield Action: Radiant RebirthTell (End of Turn): The Phoenix Wyrm rises into the air, spreading its glowing pink wings wide. Its body becomes surrounded by a dazzling spiraling light, and feathers begin to smolder and drop as tiny embers. Trigger (Start of Next Turn): The Wyrm erupts in a radiant explosion, then re-emerges from its own ashes at full SHP and half DHP, recovering 50 MP. Creatures within 40 feet must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or take 6d8 fire damage and be blinded until the end of their next turn. Counter Options: Mitigate: Any creature can digs or shields itself as an action behind cover or terrain for advantage on the saving throw, resistance to the fire damage and more. Control: If the Phoenix Wyrm is reduced to 0 DHP before the start of its next turn, the rebirth fails and it enters Cocoon Form with 1 SHP instead. Core Drop: 20% for the core to survive the death of the monster, if it does not survive it shatter, it pushes anyone who is in 5 ft of it 5 ft back and makes them prone. Anyone who is in 5 ft from the core on shattering regains half of the max MP the core has and anyone in 10 ft a quarter. Sentient Core: 20% for the core to have the beast's will in it.
