"I am thou. Thou art I." You've likely heard these words before. You are someone who has seen beyond the veil of reality and entered the world of cognition. Be it in a dream or an encounter that was all too real, your life was changed forever. The contract was sealed and your spirit of rebellion was released. Your persona. It is the very reflection of your inner most self and through it you find strength. But how did you come to form such bond? Did you find your own way into the world of cognition? Or were you simply fortunate or unfortunate enough to enter the metaverse by another means?

Procurement

Every persona user has a different means of entering the Metaverse and discovering their persona. This section will help you with how you procured yours.

Feature: The Spirit of Rebellion

Your persona is your rebellious spirit, deep within you, lending you the power to fight back against those you would otherwise be powerless against. One such type of person you would otherwise be powerless against includes other persona users. Thanks to your connection to the metaverse and the power of your inner self, you are more easily able to find those who also use personas. Some of them may be aligned to your goals and wish to help you, while others may need convincing to give you aid. However, some of those who have also found their spirit of rebellion may serve as obstacles along your journey, desiring nothing more that to destroy you. The nature of these persona users is entirely up to the DM.

Alternate Feature: The Path to Rehabilitation

You acquired your persona in The Velvet Room, a place that you were pulled into while you slept. A mysterious benefactor of sorts then told you that they'd be watching you on your "path to rehabilitation". What that means is unclear, but this benefactor does provide you a level of aid. During a long rest, you may contact your benefactor and they may provide you with some information. Be it directions, a name, or cryptic message for you to unravel. The information provided to you is up to your DM and they may decide that it come at a cost.

Suggested Characteristics

Persona users are usually just like any other person. They can be a bit interesting and might stand out from the crowd, but more often then not, they live relatively normal lives.

3	Whenever there's time, I prefer to hone my skills and intellect.
4	The food I eat is most often to die for. I love a delicious meal.
5	Celebrating after a successful night's work is my favorite part of the job.
6	I'm more than willing to take any chance I get to show someone up. I think it's fun.
7	I have a very sacred routine to a part of my day. I usually follow it to the letter.
8	I'm not very social as I prefer people in smaller doses.

1	Executioner. I'm above all others! With this power, I reign supreme! (Evil)
2	Thief. I'll steal the hearts of those whose desires are unjust! (Good)
3	Cognition. The world is the way I perceive it. No more, no less. (Lawful)

5	Persona. This spirit is another facet of me. I wish to explore it more. (Neutral)
6	Rebellion. I'll fight back against those who keep me in chains! (Any)

3	My team members and friends make everything possible, I trust them with my life.
4	Someone made my life a living hell. I'm gonna make them pay for my misery.
5	I have mysterious dreams at night where a "benefactor" speaks to me. Who are they?
6	I have someone I look up to. They keep me motivated to become who I want to be.

1	I can't say no to a valuable treasure.
2	Confidence is something I have in spades, often to my detriment.
3	There are other passions that distract my mind and heart.
4	I'm hiding a dark secret that no one else may know.
5	I'm a bit of a loudmouth and it tends to get me in trouble.
6	There's something I blame myself for that I often let get to me.
