Pangoro (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Pangoro[edit]
Powerful defenders of the little ones, guardians of righteousness and destroyers of those who prey on the weaklings — this is the pangoro people. They have been intense battlers for years and continue to be so.
Physical Description[edit]
By nganlamsong |
Pangoro are very tough-looking creatures, big and burly and covered in dark fur. They are very stocky creatures with round bellies, short legs, long arms and big paws, all designed to make them the ultimate brawlers. Their fur give the creature the illusion of wearing pants, along with a strange feature that comes off their back that gives the appearance of a cape or coat. They always carry a bamboo sprig in their mouths to help them keep track of their opponent's movements.
History[edit]
Pangoro have been defenders of the weak for thousands of years. Though they look like powerful attackers, they have a soft spot for the weaker ones and they hate it when someone picks on the weaker Pokémon or humans around them. They made up homes in the forests all around the world, the only places they can find their trademark bamboo shoots or any place to hide well enough. Some people mistake them for panda bears when they climb into the trees to hide from prying eyes.
Society[edit]
In a pangoro's society, the cities in the trees, there are always warriors to defend them and anyone that crosses their sight, unless that person is attacking some smaller creature. They are very accomplished fighters, but also fierce parents. No one pangoro raise their pancham alone with the whole community helping out at almost every turn when there is need for it. Though the communities are so tight-knit, there is always a leader, an elder of sorts, who oversees everything, support of new parents, training of new warriors, defense of the community, everything.
Pangoro Names[edit]
There is a lot of things that can go into naming a pangoro. Some people give them Chinese names, others names of panda bears. It doesn't matter because pangoro don't normally have names in the wild, but everyone knows who everyone is.
Names: Po, Skidoosh, Kung Fool, Panda-san, Mei Mei, Pangoro
