Reaction Force. When the dragon successfully hits a creature with a CR higher than its own, it automatically scores a critical hit.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The dragon makes two attacks with its tail.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage.

Spiral Flame Strike (Recharge 5-6). The dragon opens its maw and shoots a flame from another plane in a 120-foot line. Each creature in that line must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 45 (10d8) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

REACTIONS

Dimensional Protection (4/Day). When the dragon or another creature within 30 feet of it takes damage, an orb disconnects from the dragon and absorbs the damage into another plane of existence, negating the attack.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon is a rare creature of the planes. Its differently colored eyes allow it to gaze into other realms while it slumbers. Legends often associate this dragon with ancient evils. Some say it is the incarnation of said evil, while others claim it to hunt such primordial malice.
