Nopon[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Nopon are small, fuzzy creatures that are oblong in their shape. Their legs and arms are stubby, but they have a set of long wings with three digits, that are dexterous enough to be more or less the same as hands

History[edit]

Nopon have lived in forests for a very long time but eventually branched off.

Leading to Nopon becoming present in every form of settlement imaginable.

Society[edit]

Nopon originally hail from a massive settlement known as Frontier Village, a city set within the base and trunk of a massive tree. Alternatively, Nopon may travel the world with a small crew as a merchant, or study history or mythology of various places as sceintists. Some settle within colonies, cities or villages. Long story short where there are people, Nopon are sure to be found somewhere nearby.

Nopon Names[edit]

Nopon Names may seem like nonsense to most, but make perfect sense to the Nopon, and seem to derive from common

Male: Riki, Tatsu, Dunga, Tora, Riku

Female: Oka, Cherri, Kuriku, Migaga, Manana

Nopon Traits[edit]

Globetrotting fuzzy boys that love their Hom-Hom friends
Ability Score Increase. Nopon are hearty, and adorable. Your Constitution score increases by 2 and your Charisma increases by 1.
Age. Nopon hit physical maturity at the same age as humans, yet mentally maturity seems lost. They tend to live past 200 years
Alignment. Nopon are known for their good intentions, never being truly evil. Some can be Lawful, or Chaotic, but never neutral
Size. Nopon Stand no taller than 4 feet. Your size is Small.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
"YOU CAN DO IT!". A Nopon can use a breath "weapon" that heals all allies in a cone shape, centered at the user, with a range of 15 feet, for an amount of d6s equal to 1/3 your level, rounded down, plus your Constitution modifier. EX: 1d6 until 5th level, 2d6 from 6th to 8th level, etc.
Natural Affinity. You gain proficiency in the Nature and Animal Handling skills.
Nopon Speak. You can communicate simple ideas with beasts, though they have no ability to communicate in return. You have advantage on all Persuasion (Charisma) checks you make to influence them.
Nopon Wings. As a Nopon, you sport a pair of prehensile wings, allowing you to hover 5ft above the ground. You gently float down to the ground if you end your turn mid-air. While your ears are extended, you can glide a distance of 2ft forward for every 1ft you descend. Furthermore, these "wings" can be used to hold tools and items, though they can't be used to make an attack, activate a magic item, or perform any complex task.
Languages. Nopon speak common, but have a particular accent. (For example, Humanoids are all referred to as "Hom-Hom", any Large (Or bigger) reptilian creature is called "Dinobeast", and familial titles are as follows "Dada-pon", "Moma-pon", "little-pon", "Wifey-pon" "Hubby-pon", "Master-pon") as well as one language of your choice.
