The Nidavellir are a group of magic-savvy dwarves from the plane of Ysgard, in the lower subplane also called Nidavellir. The city of Ashbringer, also known as the Great Bellows and the Chorus of Ringing Anvils, is located in the dwarven realm of Nidavellir and is the home of this set of dwarves.

Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Nidavellir Magic. You can cast the detect magic spell. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the heat metal spell. You regain the ability to cast these spells with this trait when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Superior Darkvision. Your darkvision has a radius of 120 feet.
