Mutant Tribesmen[edit]

Mutant Tribesmen, also known as Yokai Tribesmen, are groups of near human appearance but with dramatic differences in a specific area, often discriminated against for these features by the human populus.

Physical Description[edit]

Mutant Tribesmen often have very human proportions, excluding one part of them that is elongated such as their arms, legs, or neck. Alternatively, the rarest type of tribesmen, the Three Eye Tribe, will have a third eye in the center of their forehead.

Mutant Tribesmen Traits[edit]

Human-like people with additional or elongated features.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Age. Mutant Tribesmen age at the same rate as humans, maturing at the age of 18 and living around a century.
Alignment. Due to their secluded lifestyle, Mutant Tribesman often lead to neutral alignment, but may lead to chaotic alignments if put under oppression.
Size. Mutant Tribesmen often have drastically different sizes due to their peculiar body proportions. You are medium, but if you have the Longleg Tribe, Snakeneck Tribe, or Long-limb Human subraces you may choose to be large.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Crafty. Due to your tribe’s primitive origins, you have a natural connection to self-sustainability. You gain proficiency in one artisan's tool or instrument of your choice.
Languages. You can read, write, and speak common.
Subrace. You must choose which tribe you belong to.


Long Arm Tribe[edit]

A specific tribe born and mutated to have longer arms with a second elbowed joint. Additionally, they’ve been at war against the Long Leg tribe for over a thousand years.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2.
Double Jointed. When you make a melee attack roll against a creature, your attack’s reach is increased by 5 feet.
Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying Capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Longleg Tribe[edit]

A tribe with uniquely long legs compared to most races, allowing them to scrap the sky. Additionally, they’ve been at war against the Long Arm tribe for over a thousand years.

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2.
Speed. Your base walking speed is increased to 35 feet.
Long Stride. If an action or feature increases your movement speed, your movement speed is increased by an additional 5 feet.
Standing Leap. Your long jump is up to 25 feet and your high jump is up to 15 feet, with or without a running start.

Snakeneck Tribe[edit]

A rarer tribe with abnormally long necks and commonly slender bodies, with their necks ranging from 1 to 2 feet long.

Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 2.
Slender Form. You are able to move through spaces as thin as 1 foot.
Vantage Point. With your tall neck, you have a natural height advantage over most that allows you to see further. Whenever you make a Perception check you may add half your Intelligence modifier to the roll.

Three-eye Tribesmen[edit]

The rarest of the natural occurring mutant tribesman, hunted down for by the world government for their ability to read ancient languages.

Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 2.
Third Eye. Because of your third eye on your forehead, it's harder for things to pass by you without being seen. You have a blindsight sight equal to 5 times your Wisdom modifier. You can see any creature that isn’t actively hiding from you. You do not benefit from this blindsight while you’re blinded or have your third eye closed.
Harsh Light. Due to your third eye, you’re more sensitive to harsh lights. Whenever you make a saving throw to resist the blinded condition you do so at disadvantage.

Long-limb Human[edit]

One of the rarest races in the world, made as a child between Long Arm and Long Leg tribesmans. Due to the conflict between the two tribes it's hard for a child of this hybridization to be born.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength and Dexterity scores each increase by 1.
Slightly Longer Arms. When you make a melee weapon attack roll against a creature, your attack’s reach is increased by 5 feet.
Strider. Whenever you take the dash action, your movement speed increases by an additional 5 feet for that turn.
