Morse Anti-Magic Shield (5e Equipment)

Armor (shield), very rare (requires attunement)

A useful shield created by the great and somewhat strange mage Morse. Though he made many items and trinkets that were more than useful, people kept believing that he was a no-good wizard who could only make items that absorbed magic. So to prove that he was a great master of magic, he made this shield as both a proof and a taunt to all.

The shield has 5 charges. If you are targeted by a magic missile spell, a spell with a line area-of-effect, or a ranged spell attack you expend a charge and use your reaction to block the spell. Roll 1d6.

1-2 You are affected by the spell as normal.
3-5 You are not affected by the spell.
6 You are not affected by the spell, and the spell is reflected: the spell caster is targeted by the spell as though it originated from you.

The shield regains 1d4 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn.
