Monstrous Superior Surgery
Prerequisites: Dexterity 16, Wisdom 16, proficiency in perception and intuition
Your perverse mind and various studies and experiments have been enlightening and you have begun to study the body of living creatures.
Gain proficiency in medicine.
You get 3 slots which we will call, Mutagen.
You can perform an intervention on a creature and on yourself, to gain the possibility of obtaining modifications (Mutagen), of the creature.
You will need to be provided with a doctor's toolset, 1 assistant with expertise in medicine, and 1 hour of short rest.
You will have to make a medicine roll (DC 10 + creature's challenge rating + 2), if you fail it you will suffer 1 level of exhaustion and you will only have 1 other chance to attempt the roll, obviously failure will cause 1 level of exhaustion again.
The master can decide what else cannot be grafted, but, a categorical no, they are magic sacs, spores, puffs and prehensile appendages.
An example of what could be obtained from monsters that possess that characteristic are: the possibility of exceeding the 20 limit of a physical characteristic, a larger size, claws, tail, wings, teeth, more savage or monstrous appearance, poison sacs ( by teeth, tail, or claws), increased speed, more limbs (non-prehensile), a higher hit die (more powerful heart), better eyesight, abilities of other races, etc.
At level 9 you get 1 extra slot.
At level 16 you get 1 more extra slot.
