Moki[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

The Moki are a species of small mammalian creatures in Niwen similar to ferrets, meerkats or lemurs. They are able to stand on two legs but run with four. They also have rather long necks. Young Moki are called pups. Moki are most commonly brown and white, with glowing yellow eyes and brown rings around them much like those of a panda, large ears, long bodies and a long tail with white on the end. They are around 2-4 ft. tall.

History[edit]

Moki come from the Feywild, and commonly mingle with other races, making their culture very diverse. They naturally learn things quickly, but aren’t exactly strong. Because of this, they commonly live high up in tree houses, suspended from the floor to protect themselves from predators.

Attitudes and Beliefs[edit]

Most Moki believe in peace, and generally aren't very violent creatures. Most Moki are optimistic, too, looking into the future positively even in dire situations. They're sociable but shy creatures, believing in cooperation and teamwork. With that being said, Moki commonly travel alone or in a group of friends or a family. Moki also don't leave their home forest very easily, meaning they need a lot of incentive to go on adventures or quests. Not all Moki act or think the same way however, allowing exceptions.

Moki names[edit]

Moki names are strange, often derived from the names of things around them, including themselves. Many children are named after other family members. Names are also usually one syllable. Some names deviate from this naming scheme however.

Male: Mokk, Trae, Grat, Araven

Female: Vina, Kur, Lae, Dradu
