Mirad, Bringer of The Plague[edit]
Mirad is the god of disease, deception, fire, and pestilence, and is believed to be the cause of the plagues that peril the world. They infect the populations to watch the suffering of mortals at their fingertips, and out of spite for the gods of life. Mirad was never respected as a being of the high gods, and in return, respects no other. The mortals of the material plane however, knew there was ahigher power, punishing them for their insolence. This was realized when a woman by the name of Sakri Dera was visited by Mirad, and was infected by their touch. To stay alive and not die from the plague, she had to spread the infection and worship. This led to entire populations falling ill, most falling victim to the plague.
Mirad, the Nightmare[edit]
Those who have seen Mirad have described them as not being one entity, but many, within one vessel. They reeked of the stench of death, as their skin peeled away and rotted right in front of them. When they would speak, it would be the voices of many, overlapping, some sounding fearful, others angry, and some even content.
The Tools of Mirad[edit]
To spread their plague, Mirad had 4 tools. The Incense of the Infected, the Touch of Death, the Infected Armors, and the Helm of Impurity. The Incense of the Infected would burn, spreading the plague through the smoke and aromas. The Touch of Death is a gauntlet, with spiked fingertips, that when they come into contact with anyone, they would contract the plague. The Infected Armors are a set of armor, imbued with the souls claimed by the plague. The Helm of Impurity is a helmet that is spiked on the inside, and when those spikes go into its wearer, the plague takes direct control over its wearer.
