Mind Defense

Prerequisites: Intelligence 13 or higher, the ability to cast at least one spell
Through your mind you create a barrier that protects you and denies magical effects that can deny yours. You gain the following benefits:

  • While not wearing armor or wielding a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Intelligence modifier + your Dexterity modifier.
  • When a creature attempt to foil a magical effect created by you through the use of dispel magic, counterspell or a similar effect, you can use your reaction to prevent it. Make an Intelligence save against a DC of the target's spell save DC (or 8 + its proficiency bonus + its Intelligence modifier in cases which the trait is not a spell). On a success, the spell is not foiled. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier, regaining your uses of it after finishing a long rest.
