Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement)

At first the mimic sword looks like a normal longsword except there is a small silver line on part of the handle, connecting to the blade, and there is also a small line down the blade, when attuned to this weapon, it trusts you, and allows you to talk to it, and vice versa, and also allows you to use it not just as a longsword, but allows you to activate it, when activated, its eye (the silver line on the handle) opens, and the mouth (the line on the blade) does too, allowing you to use it to grapple things up to 10 ft. away, and also make a bite attack (damage is 1d8 + 3), the mimic sword can make a Wisdom check against the wielder to not be activated.

shapeshifting:The mimic sword can take a shapeshift action when not owned by someone, or when commanded to by someone attuned to it, these actions are: increasing tongue length by 10 ft for 1 turn, or 1 min. outside of battle (bonus action), increasing bite reach by 5 ft for 1 action (bonus action), increasing bite damage by 5 for 1 turn (bonus action), or, once every long rest, turn into a mimic shield for 1 turn, or 1 min. outside of battle, which is a metal shield with a mouth in the middle and three eyes on the left, right, and above the the mouth, the shield works exactly like the sword, but cannot use shapeshift actions and all longsword properties are replaced by shield properties (reaction).
Sentience. The mimic sword is a sentient neutral weapon with an Intelligence of 12, a Wisdom of 13, and a Charisma of 15. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.
The weapon can telepathically speak to anyone attuned to it within 60 ft.
Personality. The mimic sword is very mischievous and likes to trick the wielder into doing things when not activated.
