Prerequisites: Strength 13 or higher, Spell Slots
You’ve been instructed in the art of smiting the foul foes of the universe from an elder paladin. Now you must carry their legacy of retribution forward.
- Learn the Banishing, Blinding, Searing, Staggering, Thunderous, or Wrathful Smite spells. You must expend spell slots of the appropriate levels to cast them as normal.
In addition, gain one of the effects below
- Targets of your smite spells have disadvantage on the first saving throw related to a spell.
- Gain advantage on concentration saving throws while maintaining smite spells.
- If you make a critical strike with a melee weapon attack empowered by a smite spell, the spell remains active and will apply its effect to your next melee weapon attack.
- While you maintain any smite spell, add Radiant damage to all your melee weapon attacks equal to the spell slot expended.
