Metamagic Specialist (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Metamagic Specialist
Prerequisites: Spellcasting or Pact Magic feature
You dedicated a lot of time learning how to enact your will on your spells to alter how they function in a very specific way.
- You learn one Metamagic option of your choice from the Sorcerer class. If you know more Metamagic options from other features, you may only use one Metamagic option on a spell when you cast it unless the option says otherwise.
- You gain an amount of sorcery points equal to your proficiency bonus in addition to any you may already have. If your proficiency bonus changes, the amount of sorcery points you gain from this feature changes with it. You may only use these sorcery points on the Metamagic you learned from this feature even if you would otherwise have other ways to spend them. If you have more sorcery points from another feature, you may spend them on the Metamagic you learned from this feature unless explicitly stated otherwise. You regain all expended sorcery points when you finish a long rest.
