COMBAT[edit]

A horse not trained for war does not normally use its hooves to attack. Its hoof attack is treated as a secondary attack and adds only half the horse’s Strength bonus to damage. (These secondary attacks are noted with an asterisk in the Attack and Full Attack entries for the heavy horse and the light horse.)

Lords Among Horses (Ex): A meara runs 15 times it's normal speed rather than 4 times it's normal speed. A character riding a meara running faster than 6 times it's normal speed may not take any actions. The handle animal DC to train a meara is 50. A meara's Ride DCs are 10 highrer than normal, and it takes a DC 30 handle animal skill check to approach within 30ft of a meara to ride it.

A meara is immune to a Mûmak's Panic Horses special ability.
