The one who trained you and perhaps even raised you also had a life before you arrived, perhaps with enemies, perhaps with allies, perhaps even being hunted!
During the Campaign, you can spend one of the uses of this feature during an interaction with a non-hostile NPC or a item, by doing so, this NPC or item has now at some point been important to the life of your Trainer/Family Member/Friend (exactly how, it depends on the GM), if it is a creature, it will become friendly to you and is much more willing to being able to provide food, temporary housing and/or information for your objectives. (obviously taking into account what dangers, if any, this might bring to the NPC)
However, by using this feature at least once, the GM can choose to create a PECR creature that was an enemy of your Trainer/Family Member/Friend, which, upon meeting you, can be immediately hostile to you. (CR it's up to the GM)
You can use this feature Your character total Level/5 (rounded up and with a minimum of 2 uses) in the Campaign.
