Physical Description[edit]

Mario-kin are a race that resemble humans, but are very noticeably different from the average human. Mario-kin have a wide range of heights, from 5 and 7 feet tall. The males can weigh anywhere between 200 and 330 pounds, while the females can weigh from 130 to 230 pounds. Most Mario-kin are fairly pale in skin tone. The males are usually have brown or black hair with mustaches and the females have long brown or blonde hair.

History[edit]

Mario-kin are a mysterious race, as not much is known about their history. No Mario-kin usually ever tells of the origins of their kingdom, and some question where they came from but never truly find an answer.

Society[edit]

Two Mario-kin usually never are one in the same, with different motivations and beliefs. Most Mario-kin hail from the Mushroom Kingdom, which has long fought off invading forces from the evil King Bowser who seeks to kidnap and marry their princess, Princess Peach. Some Mario-kin hail from Sarasaland, ruled by Princess Daisy.

Mario-kin Names[edit]

Mario-kin usually have simple names derived from human names. If a Mario-kin has an evil alignment, a Wa- is usually added or fitted in the beginning of the name, as a sign of their bad nature.

Male: Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi

Female: Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, Pauline

Mario-kin Traits[edit]

Most Mario-kin are known for their incredible athletic abilities, especially jumping.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increases by 1.
Age. Mario-kin reach maturity in their late teens and can live up to a century.
Alignment. Mario-kin range wildly in alignment. While most are neutral good, some can be chaotic evil.
Size. Adult Mario-kin range in height between 5'1 and 7'7, with an average of 5'9. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Strong Legs. Your legs are powerful, letting you jump to amazing heights. Your jump height is 15 feet vertically and if you are running you can perform a long jump to move an additional 30 feet.
Shrooms. Your no stranger to foraging for mushrooms. You are proficient in the Nature and Survival skills, and have advantage on identifying any fungus.
Ground Pound. Your massive derriere is well versed in squashing enemies. While above an enemy smaller and lighter than you, you can attempt to land on them, dealing 2d6 bludgeoning and knocking the target prone. This action otherwise functions as an unarmed strike.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
