Maiden's Kiss (5e Hazard)
From D&D Wiki
Maiden's Kiss[edit]
Maiden's kiss is a lily-like flower which has pink on the edges which fades to white with its pollen being rainbow. But this pollen contains the purest form of Maiden's Blood Fever. If anyone walks within 5 ft of it, it launches the pollen in a 5 ft cube and anyone in the area must make a dc 18 con save Maiden's Blood Fever.
Even harvesting the plant is dangerous because it can spread Maiden's Blood Fever through touch which also destroys the plant. If the flower touches exposed skin, scales, or fur the one who touched it is infected with Maiden's Blood Fever. When trying to harvest the plant without specialized tools you must make a Dc 20 nature or survival check to find where to pull/cut and a dc 20 dexterity check to cut/pull it and not ruin the plant and touch the flower. If you succeed, you get a maiden's kiss which can be refined into a dust that can cure Maiden's Blood Fever while it is still running its course. If you fail however you destroy the flower and if you fail by 5 or more you touch the flower and become infected. If using tools made to harvest it you must make a dc 15 dexterity check to cut/pull it and not ruin the plant. If you succeed you receive a maiden's kiss. If you fail you destroy the flower and if rolled a nat 1 you touch the flower and become infected.
