Burn (Ex) A creature hit by Cinder's slam attack also must succeed on a DC 15 Reflex save or catch on fire. The flame burns for 1d4 rounds. A burning creature can take a move action to put out the flame.

Creatures hitting Cinder with natural weapons or unarmed attacks take fire damage as though hit by Cinder's attack, and also catch on fire unless they succeed on a Reflex save.


Born under the sign of the black moon, Maharraz was raised as a slave in the Drow stronghold of Varsarragh. His parents were captured before he was born, and he was chosen to be a sacrifice for his master's witch-sorcerers. This fate was not to be his, however, for on the day he was to be sacrificed, his master's keep was assaulted by a rival warlord and he escaped in the ensuing chaos.

A child alone on the streets of Varsarragh, Maharraz survived with the goal of one day destroying the Drow cult leader that had enslaved him. Moving among the impoverished and destitute, he grew cold and calculating. Working his way into various sects and organizations as he grew older, learning their secrets and slowly amassing his power. Finally, after many years of carefully manipulating the people around him, he finally got his revenge, destroying his former master's cult, claiming his wealth, and finally taking his life.

Maharraz is a diabolical mastermind, trained in the intricacies of divine and arcane magic. He has allied himself with Karlesh Redfang, in the hopes of using the half-dragon's power to his own ends. Though neither completely trusts the other, both know that they have a greater chance of achieving their goals with the other's aid.
