Wand, common (requires attunement)

A mystically charged twig designed to give everyone access to some simple yet useful cantrips. Often given to young aspiring wizards to inspire them towards higher learning.

The wand has 5 charges. It regains 1d4 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand loses its properties and explodes, dealing 1 Force damage to you.

While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 of the wand's charges to cast one of the following cantrips from it: druidcraft, guidance, prestidigitation, resistance, or thaumaturgy
