Magic Memory Stone (4e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Magic Memory Stone[edit]
This rough purple crystal appears like a mundane piece of amethyst at first, but upon closer inspection, it is revealed to be a magic memory stone. Magic memory stones, which are primarily used with the Transfer Enchantment ritual, can recieve any enchantment of any level. When a magic memory stone is enchanted, it gains no benefits of being enchanted, but it safely stores the enchantment for later uses. Disenchanting a magic memory stone, through use of the Disenchant Magic Item ritual, does not destroy the stone, but it only creates half as much residuum as the enchantment would normally yield.
