From D&D Wiki
Magic Item Expert
Prerequisites: must have created or attuned to a magic item
Through your expertise you are able to trace and maintain the lines of power in magic items.
- During a a ritual that takes 10 minutes to complete, you can temporarily suppress the magic in a magic item you are carrying or are attuned to. The magic item behaves as though it were in an antimagic field, and it does not appear magical when scrutinized or to spells and effects like detect magic. You can restore a magic item you are touching its magical properties as an action. If the magic remains suppressed for 24 hours, any attunement to it ends and the magic item's magical properties return.
- You learn the identify spell, and you can cast it on an object once per long rest without spending a spell slot or using material components. You may also cast it normally with spell slots.
- You can attune to one additional magic item.
- When you roll dice to determine the amount of charges a magic item regains, or to determine if it is destroyed or loses its magical properties when the last charge is spent, you may roll twice and use either result.
