Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Mage Blade.

weapons and armor proficiencies: Mage Blades are proficient with simple and martial weapons and with light armor but no shields.

Study: after strenuous studies of the spells that a sorcerer and wizard can cast you have managed to learn one of their spells. you gain one spell from their spell list that you are able to already cast.

Infuse Weapon: By sacrificing an elemental spell to empower your weapon to deal 1d6+ the spells spell level for the duration of the battle or new spell is put in place. at 7th level it becomes 2d6+ spell level.

Shot of Force: A quick release of arcane power sends a burst of force from the hands dealing 1d6+1 per level of spell sacrificed for this ability (Ex. sacrificed 2nd level spell makes the damage 2d6+2). At 5th level damage increases to 2d6+2 per level of sacrificed spell. Target struck makes a DC 15 + Mage Blade level strength check or be pushed back 5 feet at 1st level and 10 feet at 5th level. The range of this ability is 10 feet and provokes no attacks of opportunity.

Blast of Force: Pure arcane energy is collected and released in a line of destructive force dealing 2d4+2 per level of spell sacrificed to use this ability. Target struck makes a DC 17 + Mage Blade level strength check or be thrown back 20 feet, everyone in that 20 foot line makes a reflex save equil to DC of the strength check or be struck with a slam attack and knocked prone by the attack target.

Spells: Mage Blades are spontaneous spellcasters like the sorcerer. To cast a particular spell, you must have an Charisma score of at least 10 + the spell's level. Your bonus spells are based on your wisdom. Saves to avoid the effects of your spells have a DC of 10 + the spell's level + your Cha bonus (if any).
