Lucerne Hammer 100 gp 1d8 bludgeoning or piercing 16 lb. Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Special

The Lucerne hammer is a type of polearm which was popular in Switzerland during the 15th to 17th centuries. The Lucerne Hammer was actually a three-to-four pronged head mounted on a 7 foot stick. The reverse of the hammer ended in a long spike, and an even larger one juts out from the top.

Special. The lucerne proved effective at puncturing or smashing armor, and, much like a man catcher, was used for dismounting riders. You have advantage on attack rolls against targets on Mounts, and deal 1d4 additional bludgeoning to targets wearing heavy armor when you are using the bludgeoning side of this weapon.

Expensive. A character can never gain this weapon as starting equipment from their class.
