Lizardfolk Variant[edit]

Lizardfolk of the Kamelos clan were fervent worshiper of evil dragons to the point of color fanaticism. They ritually enchanted their scales to be able to take on a variety of colors at will to please the chromatic dragons. They were known to be colorful folk that used this skill to sneak around enemy defenses, like a chameleon. Other than the difference of scales, one could distinguish the kamelos by their gluttonous appetites, which resulted in slight potbellies for many of their members. This diet, however, has allowed for them to gorge and subsequently fast for long periods of time, perfect for military stakeouts when supplies were projected to be low.

This race variant replaces the cunning artisan and hungry jaws traits.

This race variant's new traits are chameleon and gorge.

Chameleon. As a bonus action, you can change the color of your skin to that of whatever surroundings are around you, giving you advantage Dexterity (Stealth) checks for 1 minute. You must finish a short or long rest to use this trait again.

Gorge. As part of a short or long rest, you can devour the body of a Medium or smaller creature within 5 feet of you that has 0 hit points, fulfilling your food requirement for a certain amount of time based on the creature size. Medium sized creatures sate you for a week, Small sized creatures for three days and Tiny sized creatures sate you for a day.
