Saving Throws Dex +7, Con +4, Wis +4, Cha +6 Keen Senses. The kitsune has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell. Innate Spellcasting. The kitsune's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14). The kitsune can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components: 3/day each: burning hands, flaming sphere, fireball ACTIONSMultiattack. The kitsune makes two attacks with its bite. Bite (Fox Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage and 7 (2d6) fire damage. If the target is Large or smaller, it must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. Hypnotize (2/Day). The kitsune moves slowly its tail, entrancing all that look at it. Each creature within 20 feet of it that can see it must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed until the end of the kitsune's next turn. While charmed in this way, the creature is incapacitated and has a speed of 0. The condition ends for an affected creature if it takes any damage or if someone else uses an action to shake the creature out of its stupor. Change Shape (1/Day). The kitsune magically polymorphs into a Small or Medium female humanoid. Other than its size, its statistics are the same in each form. If the kitsune dies, it reverts to its true form. The transformation lasts for 2 hours, but the kitsune can end it earlier as an action.

Many have fallen in the charms of fair ladies, just to later discover their true natures as Kitsune. At first sight, they look like beautiful giant foxes with orange fur, but their nine tails and malicious gaze prevents the wiser ones from being fooled. They are more intelligent than any beast, and smarter than most humans. Shapeshifting Deceivers. These monsters have a malicious intellect, and use said intellect to hunt their favorite meal: human flesh. With their ability for shapeshifting, the Kitsune is known for turning generally into a beautiful young lady, and use her sensuality to attract a victim to some place were she can show their true form and devour her. A kitsune's true form is that of a big fox, with about 5 foot from head to tail, 3 foot of height and nine tails. While in attacking stance these tails are lifted, forming a fan of furs behind her. Her color is generally orange, reddish, but there are couple of them with silvery or white fur. Due to their malice when hunting their prey and inherent cruelty, visible in their own eyes, the Kitsune is also called demon of nine tails in some regions of Lieh. Tactics. The kitsune is a monster capable of unleashing powerful fire magic, launched from her tails. Once in combat, she will prefer to stay far away from her enemies, relying mostly on spells. If close combat becomes inevitable, she will use bite attacks, and as soon as a creature come close enough to hit her, she will active the shield of fire. If she notices that defeat is certain, she will attempt to flee, generally using her hypnotize ability to let her enemies behind. |
