Kusarigama(Variant) 25 gp (uncommon) 1d4 piercing (Dagger) or 1d6 slashing (Sickle) 4 lb. Finesse, Light, Reach, Thrown (20 ft./60 ft.), Special

This modified Kusarigama is a versatile weapon featuring a curved sickle blade at one end of a short chain, with a sharp dagger on the other. It can be wielded like a traditional sickle for slashing attacks, used as a dagger for quick strikes, or swung with its chain to ensnare and grapple enemies. The weapon offers both reach and the ability to throw, making it a flexible choice for fighters who value control and mobility in combat.

Special Properties:

Versatile Weapon: When you make an attack with this weapon, you may choose to employ either the dagger or sickle end, or use the chain for a combination attack. The Dagger aspect does 1d4 damage, the sickle aspect does 1d6 damage.

Chain Entangle You may also attack using the chain itself, instead of swinging a weapon using it. This attack does 1d4 bludgeoning damage, and if this attack hits, you may choose to initiate a Grapple as part of the attack. The target must succeed on a Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (DC 12) or be pulled into a Grapple within 5 feet of you. You can use your bonus action to maintain the grapple each round. When you successfully grapple a creature with the Kusarigama's chain, you can use a bonus action to attempt to pull the creature closer to you (up to 10 feet). If the creature is within 5 feet, you can attempt to shove the creature as a part of the grapple.
