Skills Stealth +10 Spider Climb. Kumo can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check. Web Sense. While in contact with a web, Kumo knows the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web. Web Walker. Kumo ignores movement restrictions caused by webbing. ACTIONSBite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 42 (8d8 + 6) slashing damage. Crush. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 55 (10d10) bludgeoning damage and the target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or take 11 (2d10) bludgeoning damage. Web (Recharge 6). Kumo fires webbing in a 15-foot sphere. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or be restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 16 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).

Kumo is a spirit of chaos that opposes all celestial beings. He will often bite at its victims for a quick nibble, only resorting to crushing when he either confronts bigger enemies or when pushed to a corner and is said to have a rivalry with Long Ma. |
